Paris Saint Germain vs. Marseille

Saturday, February 24th 2013, 9:00 CET

The French football teams Paris Saint Germain and Marseille are meeting this Sunday at French Ligue 1.

The teams have met several times in the past, and until 2011, things seemed to be in favour of Marseille. For example, in 2011 Marseille have defeated PSG twice, once on the 27th of November when Marseille achieved an impressing 3-0 victory, and the other time on the 20th of March, when PSG were again defeated, this time with a final score of 2-1.

Since 2012, things have changed and PSG have taken the lead. The last head-to-head confrontation between the French teams took place about 4 months ago, more precisely on the 31st of October, when PSG defeated Marseille, 2-0. The PSG heroes who added the winning goals to their team were Thiago Silva, who scored in the 29th minute and Jeremy Menez, who added his contribution in the 50th minute of the match.

Moreover, PSG’s latest performances have revealed an amazing well-prepared and offensive team, ready to fight with any opponent, in any moment. PSG have won 4 matches against Valencia (1-2), SC Bastia (1-0), Toulouse FC (4-0) and Lille (1-0) out of the latest 5 played matches.

All in all, judging by each team’s latest performances, and especially by PSG’s remarkable evolution, I am decided to place a bet on PSG’s victory. I bet 10 units at 1.50. The odds I used are from Bwin.

  1. The match is taking place today…I think there is no doubt about the winner..PSG should win this confrontation without too much effort, but we’ll see..

  2. Still, you should first take a look at this, Akkldo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dve1xE6tWpI ..I mean, before making such a statement, remember that about 4 months ago the match between PSG and Marseille ended in a draw..and I think Marseille could have even won that game with a bit of chance….you just can’t be 100% sure of the result
