Juventus-vs-Internazionale-06-january-2015-prediction

It’s Derby D’Italia time as Serie A returns from the break with an interesting Juventus Torino vs Inter Milano match. Juventus are currently on the first place in Serie A with 39 points, Inter sit somewhere in the middle, on the 11th with 21 points out of 16 matches and will look towards this clash as a means to right some wrongs.

Both teams come into the clash after losses: Juve from a Super Cup loss to Napoli and Inter from a 1-0 loss against PSG in a club friendly on the 30th of December. The visitors will travel to Torino with only Jonathan under doubt, while Asamoah and Romulo from Juventus have both had surgeries for their respective knee injuries. The good news is that Marone and Caceres are slowly returning to match fitness, but yet unclear whether they will be up for the starting eleven.

Inter have been through inconsistent performances even after Roberto Mancini’s arrival, as they only registered one win in the last five matches. They also have problems with the teams from the first half of Serie A, having lost against Roma, Udinese and even Fiorentina. In away games they don’t fare that good either having only two wins and seven goals scored so far, and will have to rely on either Icardi, Guarin or the fallen out of grace Kovacic to score, while also hoping their newest signing, the former Arsenal player Lukas Podolski will be cleared to play.

Juventus have rested the majority of their main players, and will see the usual suspects in the starting eleven, with Pirlo in his midfield commander role, while Tevez, Vidal and Llorente will try to find the back of the net. Massimiliano Allegri is trying to impose a new playing style to Juve, but tipsters and fans alike are on the fence on this decision so close to the Champions League return. Last time the two teams met in Torino, Juve won with 3-1 after leading with 3-0 for the majority of the time.

Juventus have an amazing record at home, they have a 35 matches unbeaten run, which is why William Hill has given them 1.50 odds to win, Inter got 7.00 and a draw has 4.00. La Vecchia Signora for both halves has 2.20 odds, the Nerrazzuri 12.00 and the bookie has a moneyback offer if you bet on the correct score and it ends 0-0. Tevez to score has 1.95 odds, Morata and Llorente both have 2.20, while for Inter Icardi has 3.40 with Podolski and Osvaldo both with 3.60 odds to score anytime. We are going to bet 5 units on: both teams to score and Juventus to win with 3.60 odds.
