Borussia Dortmund vs. Wolfsburg
Sunday, May 11th 2013, 14:30 CET
Borussia Dortmund travels to Wolfsburg on Saturday for a chance to take revenge on the team that last year widened the gap between them and the current Champions Bayern Munich, and BET-IBC offers the best odds for the game.
Wolfsburg comes back home after a draw against Hamburger SV, a draw that wasn’t in the cards when your goal is to move higher in the Bundesliga table. The Wolves find themselves on the 11th place and the same amount of points as Mainz 05. Dieter Hecking made only one change to the starting team, and so Slobodan Melojevic replaced Christian Träsch to play next to Jan Polak. Wolfsburg saw conceded a goal in the 45th minute, but managed to score the equalizer in the second half through M.Hasebe.
Dortmund comes from a so called dress rehearsal of the Champions League final against Bayern Munich, in a game that was high on animosity on both sides. There was some football too, but not as much as some would have liked, seeing as Dortmund played with their second team and Bayern with the reserves. Neuer had another great day as he managed to save a penalty shot from Lewandowski in the 60th minute when the score was already 1-1 thanks to goals from Grosskreutz and Mario Gomez.
Wolfsburg’s last encounter with Dortmund ended with a win that many wouldn’t have predicted, seeing how the last game started for Borussia after Marco Reus scored the opening goal. Only that everything went downhill starting from the 35th minute when Wolfsburg was awarded a penalty and Diego managed to score the equalizer, and a few minutes later another goal that might have been Dortmund’s wake up call…only that it wasn’t. Lewandowski managed to equalize, but Wolfsburg kept pushing for the winning goal and Bas Dost beat Weidenfeller, closing the scoring table at 3-2.
The game is set for 14:30 GMT+1 on Saturday and I’m going to bet on Borussia Dortmund, this time 7 units at 1.85 at BET-IBC.
